I started CrossFit just over a month ago now and fell in love with it from the very first workout.
I was always interested in it and followed many CrossFit influencers on Instagram. I loved watching their videos and always felt super inspired by them. But it wasn’t until the head coach approached me and asked me if I would like to come along and give it a try. I jumped at the opportunity and haven’t looked back since.
Before starting CrossFit F45 and my own resistance training in a gym and also some circuit training at F45.
I love the facility and the atmosphere but nothing beats the ‘Plus’ Trib at Plus. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and I always come out of there with a smile on my face. Never a dull moment.
If i could only take one piece of exercise equipment with you to a deserted island it would Definitely have to be a pull up bar. So versatile and could keep me entertained for hours!
Growing up I used to do gymnastics. I participated in artistic gymnastics until I was 7 years old and then switched over to acrobatic gymnastics from 7 to 15 years of age when I had to retire due to an injury. I competed at a National level a couple of years in a row.
Nowadays I love going for bush walks and adventuring. I also still jump into an F45 class occasionally if I am not running the class!
My favourite quote
“Be the change you wish to see in the world” – Ghandi
“10 Things I Hate About You” never fails to melt my heart. So many good films though
Album of all time
“Never Too Soon” by Boo Seeka. I could never get sick of their music!
My favourite cuisine
It all depends what i am in the mood for. Indian, Mexican and Italian I could never choose just one cuisine! Its definitely a draw between them all.
Just jump in and give it a go! Trust that the coaches know what they are doing and don’t compare your wins to anybody but yourself… everyone is awesome in their own way!
My goals are to get stronger and fitter. More specifically I would love to achieve a muscle-up and hit triple digits on my deadlift!
Almost everybody I meet inspires me in their own way. I love Morgan Rose Moroney – her handstands are incredible! And Brooke Ence is a massive role-model for me too.
